A walkable community is one of the first steps we can take to using less carbon for the fuel in our vehicles. If more people are walking in our neighbourhoods, they become safer neighbourhoods. I believe these walkable neighbourhoods also become a more desirable place to live and work.

Walkable Hamilton is designed to provide individuals, neighbourhoods, businesses and organizations with the tools and knowledge needed to help transform Hamilton's streets.

Walkability Fail at Aberdeen and Dundurn
It's not just Aberdeen and Kent that's a problem. The intersection of Aberdeen and Dundurn is dangerous too, in spite of the stoplights and crosswalks.
